Tween Girl’s Daybook time! Week 3 December 4, 2010

I’m going to try and start doing these again…what do you guys think? ๐Ÿ™‚
Date: December 4, 2010
Starting time: 10:51 AM
Mood: Excited!
Outside my window: ย Cloudy; front yard; etc. Did you know we might get snow tonight? I’m SO excited! We rarely get snow this early!
I’m thinking: *must…not…eat…peppermint….hershey…kiss….* I AM ADDICTED PEOPLE! ๐Ÿ˜‰
I’m reading: “A Little Princess” by Frances Hodgson Burnett. It’s a classic book about a girl names Sara Crewe who has to go live at a school for girls in London, away from her exotic home with her wealthy father in India where she is treated like a princess. At first when she arrives at the seminary, she is treated like royalty and mothers the younger girls until one day she suddenly becomes penniless and is forced to live in the school’s squalish attic and work for living….It’s a great book so far!!!!
I’m listening to: Christmas music. ๐Ÿ™‚
I’m wearing: my pajamas. Heehe! ย ๐Ÿ™‚
I am also doing: singing along to O Holy Night. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Yesterday: my friend had a cookie and gift exchange Christmas party. It was very fun; I had the best gift in Secret Santa until my friend Alyssa rudely (LOL) “stole” it from me and I got stuck with a Webkinz that doesn’t even have the tag! *sighs sadly* LOL
I’m excited for: I’m doing my very first babysitting job today (actually it’s “mother’s helper” since it’s my first time)! I’ve been preparing for weeks! I LOVE little kids and work in the nursery on Sundays at my church with the same group of kids (2-3 year olds) and I love them all so much and have bonded with each of them! One of the girls is Gigi who I actually worked with on Wednesdays in the nursery and our moms are close friends and that is who I’m babysitting and she is the sweetest little thing ever and calls me her “big fwend”!!!!! ๐Ÿ™‚
I’m sad: Not sad at all!
I’m hungry for: PEPPERMINT ย HERSHEY KISS!
I want: Christmas to hurry up and come! ๐Ÿ™‚
I love: little kids and peppermint hershey kisses. ๐Ÿ˜‰
This week my goal is: to accomplish some Christmas shopping.
Did I meet last week’s goal: Didn’t have one
Prayer Request: My family is seriously deep in the adoption process. The social workers have visited, the papers have been sent in, it’s officialy official that in less than a year I could have an Ethiopian little sister or brother. I am SOOOO excited I can hardly explain; we’ve been at this for years and now it’s finally happening. But my parents and family need much prayer now as they are making some very important decisions- like whether we want to request a boy or a girl, or if it’s possible that we can afford TWO, which we would love to do but is very expensive. Thank you so much!!!
Have a great day!

I didn’t get to finish the questions yesterday so I am going to start a new daybook!

Date: September 12, 2010
Starting time: 8:12 AM
Mood: Cheery
Outside my window: fog and cars going by
I’m thinking: I have some exciting news for you guys! (I’ll write a post soon)
I’m reading: I slept over my friend’s house last night for her birthday and her mom showed me an old book called The Munsters and asked me if I wanted to borrow it. I said yes, and I’ll start reading it soon.
I’m listening to: quietness.
I’m wearing: a blue hollister T-shirt ย and shorts.
I am also doing: checking to see if anyone’s on Skype.
Yesterday: My friend’s birthday sleepover
I’m excited for: the news I am going to tell you about! Also, my mom went on a weekend mountain trip with her friend and they get back today!
I’m sad: but I’m not sad. โ“
I’m hungry: to make Apple Crisps with my dad and brother.
The song stuck in my head: a Taylor Swift song
I want: my birthday to be closer!
I love: all my fans and online friends!
This week my goal is: to catch up on schoolwork this week.
Did I meet last week’s goal: No, but almost.

Tween Girl’s Daybook Week 2! September 11, 2010

Date: September 11, 2010 (We will never forget)
Starting Time: 3:36 PM
Mood: Happy, Content
Outside my window: ย Cloudy sky and horses
I’m thinking: Did I just hear my dog bark? We have a 3-year-old toy poodle (no she’s not really a toy, she’s a SMALL poodle called a toy) named Ellie and she is so sweet and doesn’t ever bark (she thinks she is a cat, my mom says). Although just now I heard her make a few yipping noises. Maybe she saw something outside? Still, barks are super rare from her.
I’m reading: Not anything in particular now, which is too bad because I LOVE reading. I’d like to go to the library soon.
I’m listening to: a car horn outside.
Aw man! I can’t finish the questions because I have to go to a birthday party. Maybe tomorrow I’ll finish em’ up!

Ending time: 3:46 PM

Tween Girl’s Day Book Week 1 September 4, 2010

Lots of other blogs around are doing “Teen Girl’a Daybook” and I thought I should do it! Of course, I’m a TWEEN, not yet a teen. Enjoy!

Date: Sep. 3 2010
Starting time: 8:12 PM
Mood: Happy, my stomach hurts a little though.
Outside my window: The school across the street from our house, through another window I could see horses in the field next door.
I was just in: I don’t understand this question, I don’t think anyone else does either!
I’m thinking: how to answer these questions; about my book I’m writing (chapter 14, page 105!)
I’m reading: A George Washington bio for school; I just finished an Allie Finkle book.
I’m listening to: myself typing, airplane outside.
I’m wearing: A abercrombie t-shirt, jean shorts, and my favorite tennis shoes.
I am also doing: Nothing, so I’ll tell you what I did today! We left early to drive two hours to the mountains and went to an apple orchard! My best friend Abby went too, so did my sisters friend and we also went with our close friend family. After picking our own apples we went to the city in the mountains (can’t say which one) and there was this thing called the Apple Festival and we went around to the shops and ate food. And guess what! We were walking down the sidewalk when we saw the sign fro a place called “American Doll”. We wondered what it was, but we found that the store was a shop for 18″ dolls of all kinds! There was mostly clothes and accessories, and some beds and you could even buy some dolls. It was really cool! I got a little 50’s poodle skirt and saddle shoes for my doll!
Yesterday: I had a sleepover with Abby!
I’m excited for: Well all the excitement has passed for now so I guess I’m excited to just relax!
I’m sad: not really sad.
I’m hungry for: Oooh, not hungry! Tummy ache…..
The song stuck in my head: a song from Phineas and Ferb….LOL
I want: TO PLAY THE VIOLIN!
I love: Apple donuts. ๐Ÿ™‚ My family, friends, and Jesus.
This week, my goal is: Maybe finish that George Washington book.
Did I meet last weeks goal: didn’t have one last week.
Ending time: 8:29

Hope you enjoyed!
