“Give Thanks” Week November 21, 2009

Hello everyone! Next week, as you should know, it Thanksgiving. My dolls WILL be celebrating, and you can join the fun. Next week is Give Thanks Week. It will last until Sunday, November 22—Saturday, November 28. All week we are giving thanks for everything we have and for our protection. If you would like to join the fun, you can!

Send in a picture of your American Girl or other dolls doing or *eating* something having to do with Fall or Thanksgiving. Then tell us what your doll is thankful for and why. If you’d like, you may have all your dolls share one thing that they are thankful for, OR you may do each doll individually.
RULES:
1. Only pictures that have to do with dolls. (For example, you AND your doll can be in that picture, but please no pictures of JUST you.
2. This is NOT  a contest or competition. EVERYONE who enters WILL have their entry posted.
3.  Please include what your doll is thankful for in the picture, not two different, random things. (Example: A picture of a doll hugging another doll would be good for: “My doll Maria is thankful for friends and family”. But a picture of a doll eating turkey would not be good for that same idea.)

What should Molly be for Halloween? August 30, 2009

Molly has been thinking a while of what she should be for halloween. So far, she has  looked through the wardrobe came up with 6 great ideas. Help her decide who she should be!

                                                          A STAR SWIMMER
Molly is fast and friendly in this sporty suit! She can be the star swimmer on any swim team,  or she can just be hanging out at the pool! She has on a swimsuit and a cap. Should she be this?

                                                  A HULA DANCER / HAWAII GIRL
Come and dance and play on the soft beach with Molly! She is wearing a beautiful grass skirt, a top, and a yellow lei. Don’t forget to put her hair in cute little braids! Is this what Molly should be?

                                           MOLLY THE FRIENDLY GHOST
I’t’s all treats and no tricks for Molly! She may be very white ,but it doesn’t mean she is a bad ghost, she wants to be your friend! She is dressed in an all-white, old fashion outfit. Is this what Molly could be?

                                                  CUTE HOSPITAL PATIENT
Molly is kind and sweet strolling in a little wheelchair, wearing an ID bracelet and a purple gown with a fun design. She is wearing cute pigtails. She will open her heart for you. Should Molly be this?

                                                       MALL COP MOLLY
Molly looks cute and funny in this suit! She is wearing a vest with a badge to prove that she is a mall cop Molly. Watch her travel in her scooter! Molly, should you be this?

                                                     RIDIN’  COWGIRL
She’s a sweet little cowgirl and wants to be your rockin’ friend. If this is what Molly is for halloween, she will ride on a horse from house to house, trick or treating. I forgot to put that in the picture. She has a demin dress, pink belt and vest, a necktie, and cowgirl boots! I lost the hat, but I will try and find it again! Should you be this, Molly?

Which Doll to Get? August 10, 2009

I know I said Molly’s Makeover would be today’s post, but i am having trouble uploading them on (this camera keeps messing up!!!)
So I am going to ask for your help. I have some doll ideas and I need your help to decide which one( s) to get next. She may be my last doll (10 is enough dolls, don’t you agree?)
so decide wisely!

Julie isn’t my BIG doll I’m thinking about, but I am really starting to like her. Possibly my historical doll pick.

This is a doll I always loved because she looks so much like my older sister when she was  10. So I would style her to be like my sister and give her a cool name.

Why is this picture so small??? Nevermind. I know Bitty Twins might be a little babyish for me, but I am really starting to love them too, and a have a little brother and sister for my american girl dolls. I love them.

Or…. should I wait until next year to see how GOTY 2010 and 2011 turn out?

I love all these dolls but I can only get one or two more, so if you have any suggestions, please tell me.
