Haha my friend and I are so psyched right now!!!!! We are on the updated (or should I say Kanani-ied) AG site and it is AWESOME! We are actually acting pretty crazy singing “Oooka ooka ooka ooka booka ooka Kanani!” LOL. We’ve already sent 3 Kanani and Me ecards each! They are pretty awesome and did you know everytime you send one, you get an automatic chance to win a Kanani Doll and book? Abby and I were saying it would have been a good idea to have a Kanani sweepstakes and send a family to Hawaii. Yay for Kanani! I’m sure a lot of you are excited!!!! Here’s my opinion:
“She’s very pretty! It looks, though, as if they took Jess and Marisol and put them together. To be truthful, I’m not in love with her and not sure yet if I’m adding her to my collection. However, she’s super pretty and her hair is just gorgeous! Her collection is cute, especially the chair! I’m going to have to see close-up and good quality pics of the doll before I decide. I love the meet outfit!”
My opinion on the book summary (I obviously haven’t read the books yet!):
“I love the tropical, island-y theme, but her actual story……seems a little stale. I mean, seriously, AG can do better than that! The only reason I am interested to read the books is because, well, she’s the new GOTY! And, like, I said, I like her theme. And…it seems like AG is trying a little too hard.  I mean seriously, “shaved ice” and “a cousin from New York”? Sorry, but I think AG could do better if they tried harder and cared a little less about money and more about a good, adventurous story, like the one Jess had. Lanie’s book was on the bridge for me, it was just above “boring” but I enjoyed it. Let’s hope Kanani is the same!”

Right now I am pretty ECSTATIC and have not done much research, but apparently AG has “released” Kanani! I’m still trying to search where these slides have been found, and it looks like they are neither on the official site or the publishing site, but I’m still looking!!!!! Here’s a video of some more pics and slides!!!!
Based on this video, it looks like AG is also planning to release a new Julie Mystery, 2 new Rebecca mysteries, two new Innerstar U books (one looks like soccer-themed one called “The Winning Goal”, and the other looks like a ballet one…. “Into the Spotlight”? “Paper Shaper”, “Oodles of Sweet Things”, Felicity and Josefina paper doll sets, a book called “Lend a Hand (looks like the “Friends: Making Them and Keeping Them” book released with Chrissa), and “Oodles of Ocean Creatures”(I found this on another video). I’m so excited! She is beautiful with long, wavy brown hair with highlights, almond-shaped eyes, and medium skin. I gotta see what she looks like as a doll before I consider getting her, But I am DEFINITELY reading the books and can’t wait for her debut and collection!
