American Girl Tour Fashion Show! September 18, 2009

My friend Ally (find her in “Our Friends and Their Dolls”) came over my house today and she brought one of  her AG dolls. Together we made a fashion show that was “touring America” with the dolls! It was really fun! Here is how it went:

MEET THE JUDGES:

THE FASHION SHOW FIRST TOURS TO: NEW YORK CITY!

Kit Kittredge starts the competition in in an Easter dress. Wow! WOW! Look at that girl shine! She will be hard to beat! OOOH! AHH!! 
THE JUDGES SCORE:
LULU: 5 1/2
KATHLEEN: 7!
SAMANTHA: 5

NEXT UP IS EVA GRACE, STRIKING A SHARP POSE WHILE LEANING FORWARD! WHAT A POSITION! OOOOOOH! AHHHH! WAIT, WHAT IS SHE….
 ….doing. Poor girl, somebody help her! Eva: “Whaa! I’m upset! I’ll never win will this strike! Whahh!…”  

WERE BACK, FOLKS. SORRY FOR THE INTERUPTION. THE JUDGES SCORE:

KATHLEEN: 8! She tried her best! 
Samantha: 5 

NEXT, WE ARE TOURING: CHICAGO!

FOR OUR ONLY CHICAGO CONTESTANTS, BUT VERY GREAT ONES, WE HAVE : “THE TWINS”! JUDGE SAMANTHA AND HER FRIEND HIT THE SPOTLIGHT AS VERY LOOK-A-LIKE BUDDIES AND HAVE A BEAUTIFUL SHOT AT THIS COMPETITION!!! WOW!!! WOOOW!!!! AHHH! OOOH!

LULU: 10!!! WONDERFUL!
KATHLEEN: 5. THEY ARE SHOWING OFF TO ME!
SAMANTHA : on the stage… 

LAST CITY, WE ARE TOURING LOS ANGELES!

 NEXT WE HAVE THIS BEAUTIFUL SHY YOUNG GIRL WHO’S HOMETOWN IS A SMALL TOWN IN FLORIDA. SHE HAS TRAVELED ALL THE WAY UP HERE TO GET A SHOT AT HER DREAM… PLAYING SWEET SONGS ON HER GUITAR. GIVE IT UP FOR ADDY WALKER. SHE IS PLAYING A SONG FOR US:

“OHHH OOH, THIS IS MY DREAM, I CAN’T BELIEVE….  THAT I ACTUALLY, ACTUALLY GET TO SHINE IT THROUGH, HOW ‘BOUT YOU? YEAH, HAVE YOU SEEN, THIS DREAM INSIDE OF ME? I HAVE PLANTED MY SEED, AND IT GREW…. OHHH OOH..”
THAT WAS (SOB CRY SOB) SO… BE.. BE.. BEAUTIFUL! J..JU…JUDGES?

WE HAVE ONE MORE CONTESTANT BUT WE CAN NOT FIT HER IN TODAY… MAYBE LATER. WHO DO YOU THINK SHOULD WIN???

What’s Happening This Week. By: Lulu August 6, 2009

Hi guys! It is me, Lulu. I wish I could post a picture story for you today, but you see, the camera is dead. This week, I want to post the weekly happenings, which is something we are starting.  One of our girls gets picked to write a blog post on the beginning of the week to write what will be happening. I know it is Thursday, but I was so exited about being the first girl to do it, I snuck on early!!!

What’s happening this week:

Molly has some health issues. Her hair is very ragged and thin, and her face is all scratched up with marks. She is still our pretty sister though, of course. She may have to go to the doll hospital soon. She will check in with you on that.

Madeline’s cool friend, Lindsay, is staying over tonight, then will stay in until five in the afternoon. Lindsay does not have any American Girl dolls yet, but loves Molly! Maybe she will get her soon! 😉

Maria Kit has left, but not her stories!!! Her two last stories of her stay will be posted by the end of this week.

We have three upcoming Traveling Dolls who could be our guests!!! Can you guess who they are?
1. She is hockey-player who is great on ice
2. She has high spirits during the world war
3. She is a colonial girl who comes from London, England

Meet my Dolls! July 30, 2009

Here at AGDC, you will be seeing A LOT of my dolls. So you should meet my American Girls! One of them is really a different doll, but she is still in our family! This shows the order when I got them. I also gave each of them a middle name. Some of them already had one. And, their nickname. Enjoy!
